In the first step “sporozoites” enter in the bloodstream and then enters into the liver, they infect and damage the liver cells and in next step-they multiply into “merozoites”. They repute the liver cells and return to the bloodstream.

Plasmodium is also known as the malaria parasite. There are near or above 200 species. Here parasite spreads large genus of parasitic protozoa. A deadly disease widely spreads in the tropics. The parasite usually has two hosts in its whole life cycle these are:
- A mosquito vector
- Vertebrate host
This life cycle is too complicated and tricky. We will find different stages in the vector and in host both. These stages include;
- In the first stage sporozoites are injected by the mosquito vector into the host’s blood.
- Here hypnozoites are present which may survive dormant and undetected in the liver for up to 30 years or more.
- Next in this regard are merozites which infect the blood cells erythrocytes of the blood.
- Next are trophozoites which grow in the red blood cells and immediately divide there.
- Then are the gametes which fertilize each other to form motile.
- Next in this regard are zygotes which escape the gut only to grow for the cycle of its production.
