Safe-O-Kid Y-Clips are pressure-gate accessories designed for compatible installations where a standard pressure pad needs to sit against a stair baluster, round post or similar support.

Installation

1. Confirm that the Y-clip is compatible with your safety gate and support surface.
2. Assemble the Y-clip with the matching adjustment knob supplied for the gate.
3. Insert the assembled unit into the appropriate gate-frame corner.
4. Turn the knob until the Y-shaped end sits firmly against the baluster or post.
5. Check the gate for movement and re-test all pressure points before use.
