Safe-O-Kid Flat Edge Guard

Safe-O-Kid Flat Edge Guard adds a cushioning strip along compatible hard furniture edges as part of home baby proofing. It can be trimmed to length to fit suitable tables, counters, shelves and other straight edges.

Key Features

• Flat cushioning profile for compatible straight furniture edges.
• Can be cut to the required length for the chosen surface.
• Designed to work alone or between compatible corner cushions as described in the existing instructions.
• Adhesive installation without drilling.

Installation

1. Measure the furniture edge carefully before cutting the guard.
2. If using corner cushions, install and position them first, then measure the space between them.
3. Trim the edge guard with an appropriate cutting tool on a safe work surface, away from children. Do not cut while the guard is attached to furniture.
4. Clean and dry the furniture surface, apply the adhesive as supplied and press the guard firmly into place.
5. Allow the adhesive to bond fully before testing and check it regularly.

Removal & Safety

• Remove slowly from one end; use a warm cloth if needed to soften adhesive.
• Do not use sharp tools against the furniture during removal.
• Edge guards can reduce direct contact with a hard edge but cannot prevent every injury.
• Replace loose, torn or damaged sections and keep detached pieces out of children’s reach.

Quick answers for choosing edge and corner protection

What should I check before choosing this option?

Match the flat profile to the exact furniture edge or corner you want to cover. Check the surface condition, profile, adhesive instructions and the selected variant before ordering. Current variants include Pack of 2, Pack of 4, Pack of 8.

How does this compare with other Safe-O-Kid edge and corner guards?

Compare the profile shape, listed length where applicable, whether matching corner pieces are included, pack quantity, colour, adhesive fitting and the furniture surface. A different shape or longer pack is not automatically a better choice; it must fit the furniture correctly.

How should I compare it with another brand?

Compare the exact furniture profile and surface, product dimensions, included pieces, mounting method, care instructions and warnings. Edge and corner guards can add cushioning but cannot prevent every impact or replace supervision. Read the edge and corner guard buying guide before selecting.
